Just a wonderful person. She was very pleasant to be around. She lit up a room and cared very much for each and every person she worked with.

I was a former student in one of her Substance Abuse classes and I had emailed her to ask her if she would be willing to be one of my references, in which I praised how much her course had helped me through college this semester. I did not hear back from her and I decided I would google her. I am dismayed. She was an incredible professor, and she had a such a humble heart. My deepest condolences go out to her family. I am sorry for your loss.

Well, office mate, we weathered a few storms together. Some of the days were rough, and sometimes we cried, but we sure made each other laugh. I'll never forget how caring and considerate you were. I still have the Tylenol and Rolaids you went out and bought on your lunch break, then wordlessly handed me as I puked into the trash can when I was pregnant. You always noticed things. You noticed people. You cared about people. I'm sorry we lost touch after I left, and I hope you know I thought of you. My heart goes out to your family, whom you loved so much, and spoke of so often. And to Tucker, whose name was always a smile when you said it. Which was a lot! You were a kind and gentle soul, my friend. We'll see you over the Great Divide.
