Teddy Williams Obituary
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Jones Cemetery, East of Logan, with Rev. Don Wilburn officiating. Visitation will from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton.
Mr. Williams was born on December 25, 1955 the son of Alvin Lee Williams and Florence Helen (Huffine) Williams. He married the former Teresa Parkhill on February 26, 2000 and she survives.
Teddy worked for 20 years out of the Laborer's Local #529. He later was employed for 15 years with Bethel Grain Company. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Williams of West Frankfort, three sons Benjamin Lee Williams of Logan, Sgt. Jesse Scott Williams and wife Kelly of Oswego, IL, Adam Lee Williams of West Frankfort; three grandchildren Brandon Williams and Abi Williams of West Frankfort, Jesse Williams, Jr. of Oswego; three brothers Timmy Huffine and wife Sheila of Macedonia, William Huffine and wife Mary of Thompsonville, Ronnie E. Huffine of Zeigler; a step-brother Lonnie Broadway of Mt. Vernon; an aunt Dorothy Carlisle of Benton; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend Jack Wyant of Macedonia.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father Ronald Huffine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Teddy E. Williams and will be accepted at the funeral home.
