Vickie Duart Luna passed away on March 29, 2017 in a tragic motorcycle accident, she was 55.
Vickie died doing what she wanted to do for years, riding her Harley with the wind in her hair. She was very caring and giving to all who knew her. Everyone she met was instantly her friend. She had a love for the high desert and rock collecting was one of her favorite pass times.
Vickie is preceded in death by her father & mother. She leaves behind her husband Don Luna, daughter Amber Luck (Steve), grandsons Troy & Beau Luck, and granddaughter Gema RaeLynne, brother Randall Duart (Janie), sister Kathie Maestas (Adolfo), nephews Steven Duart (Katie), Colton & Jense Duart, and great nephew Kaiden Duart. Vickie made the world a brighter and better place for those who knew her, she will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1:00pm, April 6, 2017, at Walton's Sierra Chapel, 875 West Second Street, Reno, NV 89503. Private burial will take place at a later date. Walton's - O'Brien-Rogers & Crosby Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.

I was with you on this day . I had never seen you so excited your dream was to ride your own motorcycle. I was so honored when you text me to ask if I would ride with you. You road like a champ I was so proud of you. I asked you if you were okay you gave me a huge smile a thumbs up and said let's ride. My friend I miss you I love you. I know you will ride with me forever. I know you will always be there next to me with a thumbs up . I love you Vickie .

Very sorry.
When I was on the local school board Vicki was the student representative. I felt that she had good insight into the thoughts and needs of the student body. I always valued her input and her friendship.
