Beverly C. Norelius
Age 82, of Rice Lake, WI, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Cambridge Senior Living, Rice Lake.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James R. and Berniece L. and her former husband, Irvin Norelius. Surviving are her sisters, Marjorie White of Ft Wayne, IN and Carolyn White of Detroit, MI and her loyal friends, Carol Caspersen and family, along with Dick and Dorthy Nelson.
She was an accomplished artist and poet receiving local recognition. Seeing a great need in her local community, she was a founding member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Inc. of Barron County and was a presenter on issues of mental health to various organizations. In her younger days, she played softball, rode horseback, hunted, and received awards in archery. She was an active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Celebration of Life Mass to be celebrated at 11AM Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic in Rice Lake, WI, Father Isaiah Schick officiating with private interment. Visitation will be held for one prior to the funeral service at the church.
Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wisconsin is serving and assisting the family with the arrangements.
Donations can be made to NAMI of Barron County and to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
