Willard Kaufman "Will" Fromenthal

1936 - 2022

Willard "Will" Kaufman Fromenthal, age 86, of Sarona, WI, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Mayo HealthSystem in LaCrosse, WI.

He was born on July 21, 1936 in Berwick, Louisiana to Charles and Clothtilde (Champagne) Fromenthal.  Will graduated from Morgan City High School in Louisiana in 1956 and was married to Mary Martinson on June 6, 1959.

Will worked for Montgomery Wards and Westin-Nielson in St. Paul, MN for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, wildlife, bowling and painting & drawing.  Will always enjoyed his trips back home to Louisiana.  He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Fromenthal; 3 children, Bill (Jodi) Fromenthal, Rebecca Fromenthal and Brenda (Kevin) Oja; 3 grandchildren, Avery, Anna and Aaron; 2 sisters, Doris Thompson and Pearl Haase; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded death by his parents; 3 brothers, Neil, Louis and Donald; 2 sisters, Virgie and Barbara.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Long Lake Lutheran Church in Sarona, WI, Rev. Rodger Prois officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 4-6PM Monday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
