Janice Dubois Obituary

Janice B. Dubois

Janice B. Dubois passed away peacefully on November 24th at the age of 87. Born on April 28, 1937 in Boston to Lucy Davis (Kelloway) and John Davis. She earned her degree in Social Work from the University of Rhode Island. She married Francis Dubois and had three sons, Paul, Michael, and David, whom she loved fiercely. She spent her career working for the Rhode Island Domestic Violence Unit. She was a strong, independent force who was incredibly

proud of the work her group was doing.

Living most of the latter part of her life down in Southern Rhode Island, she had a vast love of being on the water, specifically sailing with her family and friends.

Janice is survived by sons Michael Dubois of Warwick, RI and David Dubois (Michele) of South Kingstown, RI, grandchildren Paul, Scott, Maranda, Stephanie, Nathan, Nolan and Seth, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lucy and John, sisters Diane and Kathleen, as well as her son Paul.

A private memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Susan G. Komen organization or by mail at 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
