Lillian Myers Obituary
Lillian was raised and educated in Providence, RI, and was a proud graduate of St MarY's Catholic School. She dedicated many years of her career to Kmart, where she served as Retail Manager and was admired for her leadership and strong work ethic. Following her retirement, she continued to stay active, working in the cash office at Twin River Casino. Lillian also found great joy in helping to run her son Robert's restaurant, Half Moon in Coventry. Above all, Lillian treasured her family and any and all family gatherings. She was always ready to help with the kids, go to the beach or have lunch/dinner with family or friends. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and cherished every moment spent in their company. Lillian leaves behind her beloved children Robert Bruce Myers and his wife Kerryl of West Warwick, Linda Jean Dauksis and her husband Peter of North Kingstown, with whom she resided. Her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Dauksis (Shannon), Russell Dauksis (Alicia) and Mitchell Dauksis (Krista). Her great grandchildren Logan, Read and Gray Dauksis. A loving
brother, Albert Cournoyer. Lillian was preceded in death by her brother Paul Cournoyer and sisters Mary and Claire Cournoyer.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 8:00 - 9:30 AM at the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home of Patrick Quinn Funerals and Cremations, 825 Boston Neck Rd. North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd. in North Kingstown. Burial will follow Mass at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
In lieu of flowers donations are welcome in Lillian's name to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, the Alzheimer's Association or any animal rescue organization of personal choice.
