My heart is shattered to learn of Patrick's passing. To the Mannix Family I say this. Patrick loved each of you so very much and spoke of you with such reverence, love and care. I cannot imagine a world without his light and compassion in it. My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you as you move forward.
My Dear Patrick, I know you're sleeping with the Angels. Never let go of the piece of my heart that you took with you. It's yours, my precious friend.

Growing up in Bonnet with the likes of Patrick, his family and other wonderful friends was such a gift. Patrick was such a kind soul. He was devote in his beliefs and always carried himself in such a positive classy way. I never heard one negative thing from him. Something so rare in today's divisive world. Such sad news. My condolences to you his family. May he rest in peace.

I knew Patrick since 1st grade at MSGR. Clarke. We got to chat here and there on FB since 2011. We had many deep conversations. He was such a brilliant, altruistic and caring man. He was never "woe is me" kinda guy. He asked about a couple of people I loved that were having a hard time. My impression? He cared so much for others, not even knowing them. He looked outward for happiness. He was happy to hear my friend was doing well. It was always about others....not himself. I have so much I can say. I just want to tell his family how sorry I am. He was such a loving person. I feel blessed to have known him.

I am deeply shocked and grief stricken at the loss of my good Irish friend. Public Service was your calling. You had made pinnacle with your recent endeavor and touched many lives because of it. May the peace of the Lord and tranquillity of the sea be a comfort to your family. I will miss you until our paths cross again.
