Sally was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Peter Talbot Gammons, Sr. and the late Helen (Pelley) Gammons.
A life-long learner and passionate educator, Sally was a teacher at the Eldredge Middle School in East Greenwich, RI, where she taught history and government to students in grades 68.
