A teacher

I did not know Amy well, but I worked in the same school building as her, and I know many of her students. The students shared with me how much Amy cared about them. They knew how loving she was and how hard she worked to help them succeed. They had fun learning in her classes and felt seen and known by her. Seeing how much she helps her students showed me what kind of person she was. She is kind, hard-working, and dedicated to what she believes in. That is the legacy she leaves with me.
