Kenny Ledbetter

Kenny Ledbetter Kenneth Rex "Kenny" Ledbetter, 79, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, Dec. 29, 2023, in Richfield at his home near the Richfield City Airport which he loved. Kenny was born on Independence Day, July 4, 1944, in Richfield to William Kenneth and Lou Creta Christensen Ledbetter. He was married to his soul mate and companion Rowena Heap Hulet Aug. 28, 1999. They had many years of happiness together as they worked, traveled, played and laughed together. Kenny will always be remembered for his sweet temperament and willingness to help others. His employment years were spent working in Las Vegas, Nevada, and then back to the Richfield area where he worked at SUFCO coal mine. Later, he helped Rowena operate and manage the Richfield City Airport, which was his favorite. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kenny is survived by his wife, Rowena; his sister, JoEllen (Deon, deceased) Hyatt, Nephi; his children by his former wife, (MelaNee Becksted Robertson), Victor, James, David (Cindy), and Kendra Ledbetter, all Richfield; grandson, Heaton D. Ledbetter; Rowena's children, KimberLee (Kenny) McCoy, Kodi Cowley, Brandy Schaugaard, and Leesa Bolton (Joe) Allbright; and 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Cremation services were held in the Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Richfield Regional Airport, 1760 South Industrial Park Road in Richfield.
