LINDA PETERSON Obituary

LINDA PETERSON Monroe, Utah: Linda Lee Peterson, beloved wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away on May 28, 2025, in Richfield, Utah, at the age of 65. Born on May 20, 1960, in Payson, Utah, Linda was a beacon of strength, courage, and unwavering love for her family and community. Throughout her distinguished career, Linda earned numerous titles and honors, reflective of her dedication to service and justice. She took great pride in her work, embodying a strong work ethic that ran deep with her colleagues and those she served. Linda was known for her infectious laughter and was never afraid to stand up for her values or defend her family. She loved deeply and fiercely, pouring her heart into everything she did. Linda was married to Clarence Marlin Peterson Jr. (Pete) on April 2, 1977, in Spanish Fork, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple in 1991, a testament to their enduring commitment to each other. Together, they built a loving family and shared a bond that was not only that of husband and wife but also of best friends. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Clarence; her children, Steve (Kay) Peterson of Salina; Brandy (Corey) Anderson of Fillmore; Stacie Jacobsen of Central Valley; and Shanna (Nathaniel) Pope of Richfield. She also has 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Linda was blessed with two brothers and three sisters, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love and support. Linda was a proud and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her commitment to her faith and the gospel made her a true example of the values she held throughout her life. She cherished the moments spent outdoors and in the mountains, enjoying time with her family and all those she loved. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, and her absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James Bernell and Ila Mae Young Sorensen, and her oldest sister. The world lost an amazing lady with Linda's passing, and her presence will be greatly missed. Until we see you again, Linda we love you MORE!
