ROBERT MENCH

ROBERT MENCH Robert Wayne Mench, 73, left this world late in the evening of October 30, 2025 in St George, Utah after a long battle with chronic illness. Born in Fullerton, Ca in 1952 the only child of Robert Louis and Sally Elizabeth Mench. Rob grew up in West Covina, Ca and remained in SoCal until relocating to the "little green valley" of Monroe, Utah in 1989. For 25 years (1992-2017) he worked as the Head Pressman of the Richfield Reaper printing not just the Reaper but papers for neighboring towns, and state & national parks. Rob loved being outdoors, hunting & fishing, tinkering, classic Westerns, a good snort of whiskey, and especially the majestic view of Monroe Mountain right outside his front door. He is survived by his two daughters and their spouses, April Genevieve (Chris) and Sarah Elizabeth (Korey), his grandsons Kacey Kim (11) & Krue Wayne (1 1/2), and his beloved corgi Daisy Mae. Rob will be remembered for his blunt witticisms, infectious laughter, and love of an afternoon porch brew. A celebration of life will be held at his daughter's house in Las Vegas in December.
