Jerome A. Curtis

1948 - 2023

Jerome A. Curtis, age 74, of Julia Street, Johnsonburg, PA, died March 11, 2023, at home, after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Kenneth L. and Yvonne (Harmon) Curtis, he was born on December 11, 1948 in ElMonte, CA. On May 4, 1985 he married Martha (Henderson), who survives at home.
Along with his wife, Jerome is survived by: six children, Rachel (Frank) Osife of Johnsonburg, Rochelle (Robert) Thompson of Johnsonburg, Paul (Sandra) Hale of Johnsonburg, Darian Curtis of Vancouver, WA, Anthony Curtis of Ridgway and Kenneth Curtis of Johnsonburg; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Dionne (Russell) Orner of Emporium; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jerome was predeceased by: a daughter, Barbara Hale-Curtis.
Jerome lived half his life in California and has been a Johnsonburg resident since 1988. He worked as an Over the Road Truck Tire Repairman in California for many years. Locally he worked at ECI, Southern, Lasko Plating of Ridgway; and Ion Technologies of Ridgway for fourteen years, retiring in 2014.
There will be no visitation.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
