He is survived by 1 daughter Mallisa R. (Stephen) Cleveland of Ridgway, 2 sons Raymond E. Ford, Jr. (Brianna Rae Wolff) of Kane, PA and Jacob G. (Carly) Ford of Ridgway, 6 grandchildren: Isabella, Nolan, Alex, Jackson, Grady, and Gwen; 2 brothers: Thomas H. Ford, Jr. of Speedwell, TN and Gordon L. (Diane) Ford of Huntingdon, PA; 1 sister Ruth (James) Zimmerman of Wilcox, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Romaine Anderson and 1 sister-in-law Shirley Ford.
A Celebration of Life for Raymond E. Ford, Sr. will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with Military Honors accorded by the Ridgway Servicemen's Burial Detail. Officiating will be Ronald L. Burkett, Pastor of the Hallton Church. Burial will be at Parkklawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Memorials, if desired, can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105. Share your online condolences at thompsonfuneralhomepa.com

Met Ray Ford when he was looking for a location to reside in Ridgway, PA. As Ray became ill he vacated the apartment and later returned to 240 Euclid Avenue. Ray and I always got along very well despite the fact that he was Army and I was in the Marine Corps. Very sorry to see Raymond leave prior to my established date which is still unknown. RIP Raymond
