Michael Ramelli Obituary

Michael Anthony Ramelli, 64, passed away Feb. 4, 2018 in Ocala.
He was born March 3, 1953, in Key West. He was the son of Americo (Tony) and Rose Ramelli. Michael is survived by his sister, Donna (Ramelli) Dye and her husband Darrell of Sugarloaf Key and life partner, Lou Ann Soldano of Dunnellon.
Michael graduated in 1972 from Mary Immaculate High School.
Michael was raised around his father's auto body shop and painted his first car at the age of 16. He continued to pursue further training at George Wallace Technical Junior College in Alabama earning his associate's degree. He became a fifth level PBG master painter and was accomplished in auto restoration always using his many skills to bring life back to the many autos he restored. He was profound in trick painting, highlighting and creating outstanding designs. He loved boating and fishing with his family and loved traveling around always on the look out for a new project to fix and paint. In 2001, Michael left the keys and moved further north to Dunnellon. He was Pop to William and Maria and Papa to Bryan, Allison, Lillie Guliana, Aelana and William Jr.
Michael loved listening to the Cars, Ace of Base, Meat Loaf, Grateful Dead
and Blood Sweat & Tears and made sure the volume was always up for all to hear. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
