Twelve years after her passing, hardly a day goes by without thinking of Angela especially when making my morning coffee. Sherry and I met Angela and her boys through scouting and on many of our Scout camping adventures Angela was there as a hands on Scout mom. She always claimed I made the best campfire coffee she’d ever had as all the parents sat around the early morning fire trying to warm up with it. I don’t know about the best coffee thing, but Angela’s smile and laughter was always welcoming and warming no matter what the setting. She is still thought of and missed a dozen years later and always will be in our house. Hope her boys are doing well. ❤

Angela was such a special young woman, giving and never selfish. She and our daughter Melissa were best friends. They were in each other's lives from college graduation on on. They were in each other's weddings and supported each other in raising their kids. We think of her often and Melissa misses her everyday

I only knew of Angela thru her employer, but she was always very nice, polite and helpful. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with her family and her co-workers (Amy Geddes).

This message is for Colton who I taught in Kindergarten at Sontag Elementary. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope it helps a little to know that many family and friends care about you and Logan and love you. You always had a mischievious grin on your face and were a non- stop talker who livened up my classroom. Your grandpa Cooper was always anxious to get a daily report. Both your mom and your dad were very supportive and wanted you to do your best. They beamed with pride when I shared your report cards and you started reading. I hope at some point you will feel like smiling again and remember that your parents loved you very much. I know you will continue to make them proud. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I only knew Angela through the school functions, as we would cross paths with a smile and a polite 'hello'. I wish I got to know her more other than just through school functions. Our children, Stephanie and her son Logan are classmates. Stephanie smiled at Logan while he shed tears yesterday at the funeral. She felt good that she made a little smile come through those tears. RIP Angela. Prayers for all families that have been effected by this tragedy.

I'm so, so sorry about Angela, I did not know her personally for the exception of being Amy Gettis's Assistant and had spoke to her many of times over the phone. Me and my family send our condolences to Angela's family, and may she rest in peace, gone but never forgotten. Thank you, Michelle Coppola and family!!

Angela was such a sincere person that lit up a room with her smile each and every time she walked in. I felt very blessed to have known her. I can picture her in heaven with her excitement getting after the other Angels to get up and rejoice. May you remember with each passing day she is looking down on you with that great big smile and lots of love! You have my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Dear Lord, may your healing loving-kindness some how, some way, some day, bring peace to Colton and Logan and to the families and friends of Angela and Chris. I wanted to send my prayers of comfort and condolensces to this family during this very sad and trying time of need. I did not know you but have two friends that were close to you and your boys. I am so thankful that Angela was in my life. When my husband and I moved to Virginia, we did not know anyone. I got a job at a local law firm and that is where I met Angela. Her smile, her laugh, that wonderful southern drawl (we were from Minnesota). But, the love for her children and family is really what I will remember the most. My heart is in Virginia today. I am so very sorry for your loss and will keep you all very close in my prayers.

Angela, you where a friend to everyone you met. Your smile and laugh you would get when one of our cub scouts would say something funny I am going to miss the most. I am going to miss seeing you every day, but will see you in your boys when they get on the bus. They may have lost a beautiful and loving mother, but they have gained a lot of surrogate mothers in your honor. We are going to look after them and make sure they are raised the way you would want them to be. We love and miss you to heaven and back.

Although we lost you on Thanksgiving Day Angela, my entire family is so truly thankful that God let our paths cross seven years ago through our boys Scouting together. We will all treasure the memories of the times we spent together hiking, camping, laughing around the camp fire together. The thought of never seeing your smile again and laughing with you is almost unbearable....you touched so many lives while you were here and we will never forget you. No words can describe how we will miss you.

The 7 years I have known you have flown by. They say "time flies when you're having fun." Well, we did exactly that. All of our girls trips for whatever occasion, talks, time at the pool, birthdays and the lists goes on, they all will be missed. I can bet we will make a special "TRIP" for you! You were the sister I never had and my dearest and closest friend for over 20 years. From the first time we met at Virginia Western I knew we would be friends forever. I have known you for more than 10 years. We instantly became best friends. I will treasure every moment that we got to spend talking, laughing, eating, drinking (we love our wine), swapping cookies, scouts with the boys, making jewelry, concerts, hanging at the pool and just hanging out together.
