Ava PHILLIPPI Obituary

Ava Lowder Phillippi, 66, of Wytheville, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2013. She was born on September 26, 1947, in Elk City, Okla. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lowder. She was a member of the Wytheville First Church of God.
She is survived by her mother, Blanche Lowder, of Lawton, Okla.; daughters and sons- in-laws, Mary and Barry Wright and Karla and Craig Armbrister; grandchildren, Allen Fry, J. B. Wright and Chloe Armbrister, all of Wytheville; brothers and sisters- in-law, Tommy and Susie Lowder, of Lawton, Okla., Alan and Lynn Lowder of Moore, Okla., Stephen and Beth Lowder, of Rural Retreat; and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held on December 26, 2013 at the Wytheville First Church of God, 1135 Cove Road, with Pastor Donn Sunshine officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held on December 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Route 11, Rural Retreat, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wytheville First Church of God, 1135 Cove Road, Wytheville, VA 24382. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Phillippi Family.
