Barbara Gayle Jones

Barbara Gayle Jones, 67, of Wirtz, died Monday, July 5, 2010. She was a member of Mt. Ivy Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Jones; sisters, Hazel Taylor, Elsie Lorene Jones, Martha Jewel; and brother, Charles Joseph Jones. Surviving are her father, Willie "Guy" Jones; son, Bobby Jones; grandchildren, Larry Jones and wife, Jana, Brandon Jones, Dusty Jones; a great-granddaughter, Johannah
Jones; brothers, James and Marilyn Jones, Wilford and Beverlene Jones, Winston and Linda Jones, Wayne and Linda Jones; sister, Joyce Zeigler; many nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral services will be conducted from Mt. Ivy Christian Church 11 a.m. Wednesday with Minister Steve Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery at Scruggs. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Ivy Christian Church and other times at the home of her sister, Joyce Zeigler, 5459 Old Franklin Turnpike, Glade Hill, Virginia.
