I was a 1955 graduate of Jefferson High School along with Beth. We were in the choir, and I'll always remember her sweet voice. She sang "The Lord's Prayer" for senior assembly - I accompanied her. My condolences to her family and friends in Roanoke.

Sam, Hope and Lauren, this breaks my heart for you and your sweet Daddy. As usual, my Mommie had a better command of words than I do. She wrote, "May your hopes and hurts and loves and dreams build you a stronger personal world. All of us add to your tapestry. Some of the weave is smooth and some of the threads are rough. Together they create a better, stronger, more understanding you - filled with
the richness and quiet and joy of a gentle creative life." I wish for you smiles to go with your tears and wonderful memories to get you through this. Much love, the other Sam

The community in which she lived will be deprived of a wonderful person. She had a lovely voice and she was also a pleasant, caring person with a good sense of humor. I will never forget her friendship.
God never promised this life would be easy... He promised to be with us. My condolences and best wishes for fast healing for all of her family.

Mom and I are shocked and saddened at the news of Beth's passing.
I remember Beth as a beautiful young woman, and Mom remembers her as a devoted mother and daughter, especially to Uncle Truman in his later years.
Please know we hold all of you in our hearts and prayers at this time.
