Roanoke, Virginia- Cindy Morris, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and devoted Christian, passed on to the kingdom of heaven on October 12th 2023 at the age of 66 (10/28/1956). Cindy was preceded in her death by her father Emmet, mother Betty Jane, brothers Gary, Roger, Jerry, and nephew Jay. Cindy is survived by her children Melanie, Chrissy, and David; sisters Sherry and Mary; brothers-in-law Kevin and Kyle; grandchildren Morgen, Amber, Alexis, Chloe, Caitlin, Madison, and Aubrey; nephews Chad, Corey, and Ryan.
Cindy was an avid reader, and gardener, enjoyed going to baseball games, and loved eating chocolate, spending time with her family, and her dog Bre, and traveling all over the country. Through her life, she lived in Virginia, Texas, and New Jersey.
Cindy will have a private cremation ceremony with her immediate family.
A celebration of her life will be on Friday October 20th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church. 1837 Grandin Rd SW Roanoke, VA 24015. In-lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations instead go to the lung cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
