Dave Lisk was a dear friend, advisor and colleague of mine and I will miss him greatly. He was dedicated to the City and to many, many good causes. The world would be a better place with a few more like Dave in this world. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to get by for the viewing on Thursday afternoon or evening, but I will be in attendance for the service at St. Elizabeth's at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

David was a truly fine and honorable man. He loved to promote Roanoke and its fine Sister Cities program. I looked forward to the Sister Cities International Conference each year so that we could catch up on Louisville and Roanoke's Sister Cities' activities with each other, share new ideas and new projects (he always had plenty of both), and to also spend some time talking about goings-on in our much-loved Episcopal Church. We had GREAT conversations - and David was always respectful, and always thoughtful. I will miss him! What a gentleman!
