Donald Lewis Wimmer, 79, of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by close family and friends.
Born on September 17, 1943, Don graduated from Jefferson High School in Roanoke, Va. in 1961. After a successful career as Furniture Manufacturers representative in High Point, N.C., he retired to Vero Beach, Fla.
Don is survived by his wife, Hope Sink Wimmer of Vero Beach, Fla.; brother, Neil Wimmer (Martha) of Burlington, N.C.; and son, Hunter Wimmer (Casie) of Concord, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Vero Christian Church 3250 Oslo Rd., Vero Beach, FL 32968.
