Eloise Betty SNOW

Eloise Betty Snow, formerly of Vinton, died Saturday, December 14, 2013. She was born January 23, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, Damon C. "Hank" Snow Sr. Eloise moved from Waukon, Iowa, to Los Angeles, Calif., during World War II becoming a Rosie the Riveter while working on airplanes. She lived a life full of history, loved traveling and her family.
Surviving are her sons, Damon Snow Jr. and wife, Lou, and Daniel Snow and wife, Bridget; daughter, Shirley Huffman and husband, Pete; son, David Snow and wife, Deborah; 11 grandchildren, Crystal (David) Allen, Dana (Jhon) Quevedo, Brandi (Logan) Williams, Billy Anderson, Joe (Debi) Anderson, Michael (Laci) Anderson, Bridget Ann Snow, Heather (Roger) Robinson, Ashley Thurman, and Misti and Charlie Snow; 12 great- grandchildren, Austin and Briahna Allen, Aryanna Quevedo, Logan Jr. and Mason Williams, Joshua, Liam and Katie Anderson, Addison Anderson, Ethen, Meredith, and Hank Robinson; and numerous friends, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at noon Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the funeral home, 540-9822-2221.
