Krissie, Hal, Spencer, Peyton, and Elliot, I'm so so sorry for your loss. Emmy had such an impact on my life and the people around her. She truly was incomparable and I will always remember my adolescence with her preciously. When we were just young awkward kids she taught and gave me confidence. She was the strongest person I knew. And she showed me unconditional love and exuberance like no other. You raised a good one. I really did love being girls with Emmy and learning and growing with her. It was irreplaceable. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

Dearest Krissie and Diddi,
It is with great sadness that I offer you my condolence on the loss of your beautiful daughter. There really aren´t any great words to share as you know we had our own cancer journey with Daniel. As a former Stamfordian decades ago, I follow the obits occasionally and find too many names I recognize. This name I do not recognize but I am moved by the story. This sarcoma, they must find a cure for it. So sorry for your loss. A complete stranger in Southern California has been thinking about Emmy the past few days. Sincere sympathies to family and friends.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I had Emmy as a student in 8th grade Geometry at RIS, it was no surprise to read that she was majoring in physics. I was lucky enough to run into her at Roxbury Swim Club a few summers ago where she worked as a lifeguard. We went full circle as she taught my daughter how to swim. I will always remember her big smile and positive influence she had on everyone around her.

Dear Sigtryggsson Family, While a student at SHS I had the great pleasure of working with Emmy for four years. To my detriment we shared but one year, Grade 9, in class directly. But, her remaining years she often stopped by the classroom where we caught up on her latest activities both in and out of school. When Peyton arrived at high school we made especially sure she was practicing her triple lindy off the high board. We laughed uproariously. Emmy everyday brought joy and a positive attitude to all at SHS. And, her infectious spirit and smile even this cranky ol´ man could not resist. May you take comfort in our Lord´s love and grace this day and every day the rest of your lives. Rest in peace, beautiful Emmy. M. J. Arcano. SHS (ret.)

To the Sigtryggsson Family,
Sending my sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved Emmy. She was a Madrigal Singer at Stamford High School under my direction and I will always cherish that memory and the music we made together. Emmy was talented, enthusiastic, kind and full of energy. She was an active and passionate young woman. I witnessed her beautiful smile and enthusiasm at every rehearsal and performance. This is a profound loss and my heart aches for her loved ones.

To her family, we are thinking of you with heartfelt condolences and holding you in our prayers. May the blessing of love embrace you, treasured memories comfort you, and God's gift of a living hope sustain you.
