July 14, 1931 - September 30, 2025
Faye Elizabeth Jackson Poole of Moneta, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was born in Wythe County, Va., to Ernest B. and Ethel Mabe Jackson on July 14, 1931.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Keller Poole Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Bobby) Kyle and Pamela Kelly Poole; and her sisters and brothers, Velma and James Kirby, Thomas B. Jackson, Charles and Helen Jackson, and Cleita and Clyde (Jack) Brown.
Faye is survived by her children, Gail and Ronnie Zimmerman, W. Keller and Diane Harlow Poole, Lecia and Waller Bohon, and Jeffrey O. Poole; nine grandchildren including Bobby and Pam's daughter, Kelly; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Georgia Copenhaver Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Care, especially Deborah, Diana, Karen, and Jennifer for their gentle and loving care of Faye.
A Celebration of her Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1861 Jordantown Road, Thaxton, Va. 24174.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Moneta Rescue Squad, Samaritan's Purse, or to Shady Grove Baptist Church, Condolences may be shared with her family by visiting www.Oakeys.com.
