Gail Stone Campbell Clark

Gail Stone Campbell Clark of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 13, 1947 in Roanoke, Va. Her parents Creighton Child and Anne Stone Campbell preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathleen Campbell Clark; her sister, Mary Kay King and husband Mike of Charlotte, N.C.; two nephews, Michael King and wife Stephanie of Columbia, S.C., Thomas King of Wilmington, N.C., and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday December 1, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert D. Smith officiating. The interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Carilion Hospice of Roanoke, 1917 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, Va., 24014 or to the William Creighton Campbell Memorial Fund, First Presbyterian Church, 2101 Jefferson Street, SW, Roanoke, Va., 24014.
