George Connelly Koss

July 6, 1952 - September 30, 2025

George Connelly Koss, 73, of Salem, Va., died on Tuesday, September 30. 2025.

George was born in Lynchburg, Va., on July 6, 1952, to the late George Alex and Shirley Connelly Koss.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Harlow Koss; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Koss and Laura Catherine Koss, both of Salem, Va. George is also survived by two sisters, Deborah Koss McCarthy and husband, David, Penny Koss Graves and husband, Dr. John Lee Graves; along with their families, all of North Carolina. He is also survived by his favorite mother-in-law, Mrs. James T. Harlow, Jr. (Ruby Via Harlow) of Roanoke, Va.

George graduated from E. C. Glass High School in 1970, and then attended Virginia Tech where he graduated and then earned his Master of Business Administration degree. Before he retired, he was the Atlantic District Manager of JTM Industries, Inc. in Kennesaw, Ga.

Services will be held privately by the family.
