George Litos Obituary

George Litos, 84, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny; four children, Kelly Wrenn, Kimber (Kevin) Rotty, Michael (Kathleen) Litos, and Robb (Holly) Litos; and his five grandchildren, Ian, Jack, Ryan, Nicholas, and Elias. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Helen Litos; sister, Elizabeth Pappas; and son-in-law, John Wrenn.
George was a devoted husband, father, friend, educator, coach, and a longtime member of Heights Community Church. He settled his family in Roanoke after earning a master's degree in Education from the University of Virginia and taught in multiple Roanoke Valley schools. He was a great storyteller who enjoyed sports, westerns, and Petersburg High School Reunions (POGO).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.oakeys.com.

I remember you fondly when I worked at VA Hgts 1984-94. Also you are my neighbor. I still live on Brookfield even though my husband passed away 6 years ago. My prayers are with you in your loss.
