Dear Mayola,
Even though our paths have not crossed for many years, I remember how much we enjoyed being with the two of you and Jim & Dottie Roe. George and I had fond memories of being with the two of you. You probably know that I lost George four years ago. Therefore, I completely understand the changes it makes in your life when you lose your husband and soul-mate. Try to find comfort in memories of the good times you shared. Take care of yourself. I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

My very first boyfriend. Born 25 days apart. shared
the same playpen..Dehue was our home. Danced
with Harry at VPI.. ours was a love/friendship
arrangement. Saw him last at Logan High 50th
reunion. I shall miss him forever. To Mayola,
Sophia , Alice and John....I grieve with you.
He was a wonderful son, father and friend.
