Helen Lucille Ward Michael

Helen Lucille Ward Michael, 90, of Roanoke, formerly of Versailles, Ohio passed away Friday, October 17, 2008. She was a resident of Our Lady of the Valley for the past eight years. She was the daughter of the late William W. Ward and Nina May Kesler Ward . She married Gerald Leroy Michael on July 17, 1942, until his passing on June 30, 1981. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence E. Ward and Harold Ward, her sister, Mary Catherine Steele and grandson, Thomas Andrew Michael. She is survived by her brother, Harry Ward, of Greenville, Ohio; her sister, Ruthanna Oliver, of Covington, Ohio; her son, Larry Michael, of Roanoke, Virginia; and her granddaughter, Cheryl Marie Michael, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. A funeral service will be held at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, 653 Hickey Avenue, Versailles, Ohio on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Versailles Christian Church, 105 W.
