Helene Wagner Obituary

Infant Helene Carmal Wagner, of Vinton, Va., was called to be with Jesus on Monday, September 29, 2008. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carmal and William Fred Brown Jr. Surviving are her mother, Christie Leigh Brown; and father, Daniel R. Wagner; two brothers, Seth Adrien Elkins and Robert Murphy Bradbury; maternal stepgrandmother, Kathy Brown; paternal grandparents, Donna and Ted Patrick; paternal greatgrandmother, Helene N. Wagner; and many great-aunts and uncles. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2008, from Mountain View Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Washington officiating. The family is receiving friends after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at the Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.

My thoughts and prayers are with you both. What a difficult time this must be. I can't imagine anything any worse than losing a child. We don't know why things like this happen but please take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven, a perfect little angel.
