Henry Moore Obituary

Henry Addison (Buddy) Moore Jr., 76, of Buena Vista, Va., died on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at home. Born on October 3, 1933, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Henry A. Moore Sr. and Glendon Long Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of the Calvary Brethren Church. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Eggleston Moore; two sons, Stephen J. Moore and wife, Andi, of Allen, Texas, and Darrell A. Moore and wife, Jeannie, of Buena Vista; two daughters, Gloria J. Dailey and husband, Patrick, of Pace, Fla., and Shelia K. Gibson and husband, Dean, of Roanoke; two sisters, Louise Painter, of Buena Vista, and Clara Coffey, of Roanoke; three brothers, Robert Moore, of Martinsville, Steve Moore, of Staunton, and Douglas Moore, of Greenville; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Calvary Brethren Church in Buena Vista with the Rev. Rick Ramsey officiating. Burial to follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Calvary Brethren Church in Buena Vista. Arrangements by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
