Herbert Craig Miller, 100, of Blacksburg VA died on January 27, 2024. He was born in Rowan County, NC.
Herbert is survived by his loving spouse, Doris R Miller, his daughter Janet Miller and her spouse Timothy Ritz of Roanoke VA, his son David Miller of Atlanta GA, his son Paul Miller of Roanoke VA and his brother Howard Miller of Rockport ME.
Herbert served in World War II in the Navy. He received a chemical engineering degree from NC State and worked for Hercules his entire career in Wilmington DE, Hopewell VA, Harbor Beach MI, and Covington VA. He loved his family and he loved God. He taught Sunday School in Covington and in Christiansburg for over 30 years. His wife Doris cherished him as "a fine man!"
A Committal Service will be held for immediate family in spring 2024 at the Scatter Garden at Christiansburg Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Christiansburg Presbyterian Church or Medi-Hospice - Pulaski VA office.
