James Kingrea Obituary

James Lee Kingrea, 75, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007. He was born September 3, 1931 in Wythe County, son of the late Hugh M. and Nancy E. Kingrea. Also preceding him in death was his son, Dale Kingrea in 1992 and his granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Kingrea in 2006. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Betty June Kingrea; granddaughter, Jessica Dawn Kingrea and her fiancé, Matt; daughter-in-law and wife of the late Dale Kingrea, Melissa Kingrea Clemons and her husband, Ricky and son, Travis Robinson. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Church of God with Pastor Mike Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
