Janice Ewers Obituary
April 9, 1937 - November 9, 2024
Janice Rudd Ewers, our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this world on Saturday, November 9, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Deloris Rudd; and by her siblings, James Rudd, Carolyn Rudd, Doris Young, Leah Radcliffe, Evelyn Springs, Becky Schaefer, Martha Stevens, Roy Rudd, and Sam Rudd.
Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Robert Ewers; children, Kelly Goria, Melissa Weaver (Michael), and Stephen Ewers (Amy); grandchildren, Joseph Goria (Marlea), Jessica Bowen, Jacob Bowen (Jessica), Justin Goria, Nicholas Ewers (Caroline), and Collin Ewers (Cam); and great-grandchildren, Briggs Bowen and Baylor Bowen. Also surviving are her sisters, Veronica Arnold (Bruce) and Mary Cogar; her brothers, Vernon Rudd (Gerri), Paul Rudd (Hattie), Martin Rudd (Gail), and Michael Rudd (Robin); and her former sons-in-law, Joe Goria and Danny Bowen.
She was a devout Christian, a longtime member of Grandin Court Baptist Church, and a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class.
Janice (Mee-Maw to her grandchildren) was dearly loved by her family. Our hearts are broken, but the day is coming when there will be a reunion in Heaven, and we will be with her forever.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Oakey's South Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Condolences may be shared with her family by visiting www.Oakeys.com.
