Jeff Trampe Obituary
January 21, 1959 - June 19, 2025
Jeffrey Mark Trampe, 66, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Jeff was born in Pampa, TX on January 21, 1959. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved son, Eric Robert and his parents Robert Eldon and Patricia Rehg Trampe.
Jeff's passion for the beach and fishing brought him to Oak island, NC to retire with his wife Carobeth. Jeff graduated from the University of Kentucky where he met his beautiful wife. His love for Lexington, the Kentucky Wildcats, and Keeneland continued throughout the years with many return visits.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carobeth; sons Ian (Ana) and Drew. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ellen Mills, Emery Elizabeth, and Nolan James who lovingly called him "Pappy." Also surviving him are his brother David (Kristi) and sister Kim Scally. His family of in-laws, Marilyn (Ed), Debbie (Buzz), and Michele (Mike) will miss him dearly. His nieces and nephews will also miss their fun-loving Uncle Jeff.
His love for baseball led him to serve as a board member and coach for Cave Spring American Little League for many years where he coached all 3 of his sons through their Little League years. The family requests with gratitude that donations be made in his name to the Cave Spring Little League, P.O. Box 20674, Roanoke, Virginia 24018 or through cavespringlittleleague.com.
Jeff will be celebrated by his family and closest friends at a later date.

Jeff you were a one of a kind friend who is loved by so many! Always smiling, always laughing and enjoying life. Our family get togethers are some of our most fun memories with all the Trampe's. Our prayers are with Carobeth, Ian, Ana the grands and Drew. We will miss you my friend.
