Jesse Eugene Coughlin (JWOW), 42, of Roanoke, passed away on April 30, 2023, in his home surrounded by family, after a long struggle with the disease of alcoholism.

Jesse was born on July 7, 1980, to Charles and Bobbie Coughlin in Roanoke. In 2008 Jesse and Tamara were blessed with their daughter Danielle. Jesse always felt Danielle was his greatest accomplishment in his life, he adored her. Jesse spent 18 years being a Bartender. He enjoyed shooting pool and supporting the Washington Redskins and UVA Cavaliers. Jesse was the life of the party and always tried to make others laugh.

Jesse was predeceased by grandparents, Erma and Hayward Hinkle and Masil and Muriel Coughlin. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Bobbie Coughlin; his daughter, Danielle Harper-Coughlin; his brothers, Michael and Curtis Coughlin; his sister, Melanie Witt (David); his twin sister, Jennifer Wingo (Eric); his nephews, Jared Witt (Allison) and Colin Wingo; his nieces, Kathryn Witt, Kaya Coughlin, and Lucy Wingo; his girlfriend, Marlanea Dye and her son, Bradley Dye; and his friend, the mother of his daughter, Tamara Harper-Bane.

Services will be held at Wallace and Wallace of Rainelle, W.Va. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Eisenman officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Guests are invited to wear Washington Redskins jerseys and/or colors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or Hines Baptist Church.
