John W. Mays, 74, of Eagle Rock, Va., passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. Big John's funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday July 10, 2025, with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service, both at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan Chapel (540) 254-3000.
