John VAETH Obituary

John Francis Vaeth, 55, of Roanoke, formerly of Rochester, N.Y., passed away January 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Joseph and Monica Vaeth; brother, Peter Vaeth; sister, Agnes Vaeth; and brothers-in-law, Stan Daniels and Mike Schiefen. He is survived by his children, Kelley, James, and Mark and their mother, Jill Vaeth; brothers, Joseph (Lenora) and Mike (Michelle); sisters, Karen Geyer, Colleen Schiefen, Anne Lizdas (Peter), Mary Halbig (Waldemar), Patricia Maas (Bill), Monica Misey (Rob); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was a beloved brother, father, and friend.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Private interment at a later date. Donations are suggested to The Marching Virginians of Virginia Tech.
