Keith Brunk Obituary

Keith Earl Brunk, 61, of Pembroke, Va., passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009. He was born June 8, 1948, in Fairfax, Va., a son of the late Earl Douglas and Alberta Martin Brunk. He was preceded in death by his brother, Almon Brunk. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Earl Lee and Alissa Brunk, of Portland, Conn.; his daughter and sonin-law, Lori and John Surface, of Blacksburg, Va.; his sister, Dolores Brunk, of Nokesville, Va.; and his six grandchildren, Cheyenne Brunk, Cody Brunk, Cassidy Surface, Madeline Brunk, Owen Brunk and Hannah Brunk. Keith was a veteran of the United States Army, Viet Nam Era, enjoyed working with his hands as a carpenter, he loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday evening, January 2, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. before the services. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
