Thanks to Bill Hartsock I just heard about Dr. Springer's passing. He was a role model for me growing up. When Bill & Bob got into horses I was right there with them and I'm still into them. Growing up in Dublin was a special time and Bill, Bob, and Joe were my best friends. So sorry guys...give your mom a hug for me.

The summers I spent in Dublin growing up were a wonderful time. My time spent at the horse barn with the Springer boys was so much fun. Doc and Margaret aways treated me like family. Doc gave me my first airplane ride and 45 years later as a pilot now I still remember it. He gave me my first horse ride on that "wild" appaloosa stallion, Nick. I will always remember Doc's laugh and that he was really a nice person to know and have looked up to. Bill, Bob and Joe, I know you have lost a great father.

At this time words are inadequate to ease the pain you are experiencing. Just know those of us who love you and loved Dr. Springer are with you in spirit.

Oh, the many fond memories of growing up Dublin and knowing Doc. What a wonderful person with a great laugh and sense of humor. He was like a special member of the family. You were always glad to see him come for a visit. That was a special time in my life I will always remember and keep close to my heart. There were a lot FIRSTS with Doc Springer, 1st airplane ride, 1st trip to the beach, 1st motorcycle ride. He was a great guy with a great family. My life was truly enriched by knowing him.
