Margaret Croushore

Margaret (Peggy) Croushore, 69, of Troutville, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009. She was born on October 1, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Harold and Helen Shabbick Miner. Peggy met the love of her life Harry Croushore when he was home on leave one weekend from the Navy and it was love at first sight, they married a few weeks later on June 15, 1958, in Brooklyn. Peggy enjoyed life and loved doing woodcrafts, crocheting, quilting, and gardening but especially loved her family. Peggy is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Helen Shabbick Miner. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Harry Croushore; her son, Harry W. Croushore and his wife, Maureen, of Walden, N.Y.; her daughters, Vickie Hoyt and her husband, Chris, of Plympton, Mass., and Gail Hermann and her husband, Ed, of LaGrangeville, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Stephen and Kevin Croushore, of Walden, N.Y., Christopher and Andrea Hoyt, of Plympton, Mass., Andrew, Ryan and Logan Hermann, of LaGrangeville, N.Y.; her brother, Buddy Miner and his wife, Marie, of Lady Lake, Fla.; her sister, Helen Diver, of Fishkill, N.Y.; also many nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends are welcome to call Sunday, July 5, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville. A Funeral Service celebrating Peggy's life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Irving Glover will officiate.
