Dear Aunt Marian, I will miss stopping by to see you. I know you are with uncle John and free and happy to walk your miles, serve dinners and have tea parties. I still have my Wheelo, troll doll and the silly putty container- the putty disappeared long ago. You and uncle John were like my second parents but really family of sweet caring caretakers. You would come to my boys basketball games, act as a parent on 8th grade day and you were always supportive and a guiding light amongst the kaos of the world. I am so glad you made time for me anytime I dropped by or
Called you. You were an ultimate Mrs. Claus and I know you will have that role next to uncle John. I am sure all family members will greet you, my mom and dad and sister Kathy will be there to share stories and laugh.
I am not sure who I´ll call in my trips and thank you for caring so much. RIP sweet Aunt Marian and my thoughts and prayers go out to Cousin John and Andrea and all who knew you. Hugs

What a great and productive life. I was in Miss Towers kindergarten class at Central City in 1945 -46. I think it was her first year of teaching. One of my favorite memories was sitting in a circle and learning to read with Dick, Jane, Sally, Spot, and Puff. I was blessed to have her as a teacher.

It would not be a stretch to say that Marian was the finest woman I have ever known. My biggest disappointment was that I never got to introduce her to my mother. My sincere condolences to John and Andrea, and the thousands of people her life touched over the years.

I am greatly saddened by Marian's passing. What a bright spirit she was! I loved working with her in my craft classes at Warm Hearth.

Hi... Mrs. Kelso! I first met you when I was 7 or 8 and Mrs. Kelso is who you are. As I got older I changed to Mrs. K (slightly informal but still remaining on the respect continuum). As I grew into middle age you gently prodded me to call you Marian. Gosh I used to choke calling you by your first name. You don´t pull on superman´s cape, you don´t pull the mask off the Lone Ranger. I´ve lost my second mom; I´ll be 70 this year but I felt 7 when I read the news. Maybe John and I can take one of our road trips, I´ll leave a memory stone at your resting place. Rest easy Mrs. K-you´ve earned it.
