Mary Johnson Duncan

Mary (Mag) Johnson Duncan, 86, of Salem, peacefully passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 26, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Edward (Ed) Duncan; parents, Elgin and Alice Johnson; and a greatgranddaughter, Shelby. Surviving family includes sons, James (Jimmy) and Stephen Duncan, both of Salem; daughters and son-in-law, Janice Austin, of Richmond and Jean and Joe Lucas, of Salem; grandchildren, Leslie, Emily and John; greatgrandchildren, Billy, Conner, Josie and Hannah; sister and brother-in-law, Norma Lee and Kenneth Bowles, of Roanoke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Otis E. and Mamie Johnson, of Batesville, Miss., and Glen and Phillys Johnson, of Salem; special cousin, Nelwin Johnson of Americus, Ga., and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem with the Rev. Dan Netting officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 28, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem.
