Aunt Catherine; Only fond and good memories do I have of this women and her husband. I am so glad that for her she is finally with Uncle Houkie and her sisters.. a family reunion is in store for her and I am sure she is enjoying every minute with them but missing us too. That is the kind of person I remember her never about herself but her family and friends. My our lives be different without her; but our lives are blessed to have known her. This will be a very Merry Christmas for her. May everyone celebrate her life and know she is in a great place.

My great aunt Catherine was one of a kind. She loved everyone. When I was younger I would stay with her while my dad worked. She always made my sister and I feel welcome at her house. Not a day will go by that I wont think about her and miss her but I have to keep in mind she is in a better place and I will see her again. Catherine was a wonderful women and I loved her very much.
Catherine once gave me a bear and on it, it said "do your best and god will do the rest." So I’m going to do my best knowing that she is in heaven and god will help me deal with her not being here on earth with me.

My sweet dear sister Catherine went to be with the Lord, I miss her so much. The memories I have of her are endless. She was a friend to everyone she met. Always happy and loved life. I remember her saying "I am going to go and enjoy life until I can no longer go and then I will have missed nothing". Forever in my heart dear sister. Yvonne Nash

"Miss Catherine" as we called her was my Sunday school teacher for many years. I dearly loved this Godly woman and am so sorry for your loss. My earliest memories of church have Miss Catherine in them. She taught me a lot about the love of Jesus and I'll never forget her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Life has it's seasons each with its own lessons. With the loss of your Mother, it may seem like winter. But as a loved one departs, the Lord gives His own Spirit to stand by the sides of those who grieve and there will come a Spring.
The truest end of life is to know the life that never ends.
What a nice lady; we met her while doing family history research and at the Jimmy Sheppard family reunion.

During our Sunday worship service we received word of Catherine's passing. Our pastor referred to Catherine as a 'saint' and truer heartfelt words were never spoken. I have never known a more devout Christian or unselfish, kind and loving women. You could always count on Catherine to give freely and generously of her time and talents. Catherine's passing will leave a void that the church and community will never be able to fill. We feel our lives have been enriched by having known Catherine. Our sincere smypathy and prayers are with each of you.
