Maxwell Hauser Obituary
August 18, 2022
Maxwell "Max" L. Hauser, 24, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
He was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit, where he was very involved in Vacation Bible School and Bible Study. Max graduated in 2016 from Hidden Valley High School, where he was on the archery team and continued his active involvement of the archery program. He enjoyed model painting. Max was very loyal to his friends and was known as the "Gentle Giant" and he had a very giving heart. Max also liked working out and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Randall H. and Nancy C. Murphy; paternal grandparents, Dr. William Robert and Margaret Lewis Hauser; uncle, Chuck Murphy; and uncle, Dr. Jesse Ray Grant.
Max is survived by his parents, Nancy Hauser and Dan Bledsoe; father, David Hauser; uncle, Randy Murphy and wife, Suzie; aunt, Leigh Grant; aunt, Patti Tribley; cousins, Samantha, Hannah and Maggie, Cody, Jessica, Natalie, Amelia, Barrett and Michael, (JNABM); his work family at Ostrom; cat, Omar; a host of other family and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Church of the Holy Spirit with The Rt. Rev. R. Quigg Lawrence and The Rev. Barbara Murray officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in person or by phone to the Nancy Hauser, Max's Fund at American National Bank and Trust, for additional information please contact Kristin Routt at 540-283-4711. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.Oakeys.com.
