My heart goes out to the family. I am the youngest daughter of Dick and Thelma Carner and I know how they always loved your parents. My Dad just went to Heaven in January and I know how hard it can be and how much you will miss your Dad. I'm so sorry for your earthly loss but it is Heaven's gain. To the family of Melvin Doss:
Although I never met your family, I feel I know you through my parents, Thelma & Dick Carner. They have such fond memories of all of you while they lived in Burlington, NC, and my Dad truly loved your Dad, Melvin. Please know you are all in our thoughts & prayers & my Mother hopes to see you soon. We truly know how you're feeling right now as we lost our Dad in January. Although the pain is easing a little, we still miss him so much. I can just see my Dad and your Dad becoming reacquainted in Heaven & I just know our Dad gave yours a big greeting at Heaven's gate.
God be with you all & help comfort you. Melvin's legacy will live on through all of you.
