Mildred Biegar Obituary

Mildred Wright Woods Biegar, 89, of Franklin County, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning, November 22, 2006. Mildred was born on August 7, 1917, a daughter of the late Isaac and Sarah Wright and was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph G. Woods and William F. Biegar; her sister, Hortense Nyce; and her brothers, George Wright and Norman Wright. She was a member of the Cedar Bluff Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her children, Vickie (Mike) Holland of Boones Mill, Charles (Carlie) Woods of Vinton, Phillip Woods of Big Island, Clarence (Diana) Woods of Roanoke, Kenneth (Gene) Woods of Boones Mill, Curtis (Jean) Woods of Bedford, James (Sandra) Woods of Boones Mill, Michael (Vivian) Woods of Lovingston; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Cecil Wright of Salem, Lee Wright of Roanoke, Franklin Wright of Rocky Mount; her sisters, Clydie Guilliams of Roanoke, Blanche Hodges of Boones Mill, Beulah Eatmon of Norfolk, Beatrice Ware of Rocky Mount, Betty Shelton of East Bend, N.C.; also many nieces, nephews and loving friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. David Cummings for his wonderful and loving care for Mildred. A funeral service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, Saturday, November 25, 2006, 12 noon with the Rev.'s Lee and Robin Naff and the Rev. William Stovall officiating. Interment in Mountain View Memorial Park, Franklin County. The family will receive friends Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel.
