To The Harrington Family,
I posted an entry on February 2nd however it never came across, so I am resending the same message to you.I lived in Montgomery and Roanoke Counties and still have relatives in both. On the very first day of Morgan's disappearance I place ribbons with the Hokie's color on my jacket and I wore them until we received word that she had been found. At that time I placed a black ribbon on top and I will continue to wear until we locate the person responsible and justice has been served. (I had so many people ask me about the ribbons and I explained what had happened and so many people said to me, "I will keep the family in my prayers", I said, please do.) There is a bond between a parent and a child, it will never be broken no matter what has happened, just remember that Morgan is in a much better place than we are. I know we never want to give anyone up to death. But now we know she is an "Angel" watching on each of you everyday, and you all will meet again.
God be with each of you during this difficult time, I will keep you in my prayers.

I did not know Morgan but I wanted to post this message to you that my prayers are with you during this time. I am originally from Roanoke and I have family still there. I have been heart broken about the losses of so many young people who attended Virginia Tech, a college I wanted to attend. I'm so sorry that Morgan's story ended this way. I'm a dispatcher and couldn't help but hear about it all the time. I was so hoping that she would be found in different circumstances. I lost a brother a while ago, and feel bad for what you all have to go through the next few years. Your family won't ever be the same. I hope you can keep it good though.

When i learned that she had gone to paradise, i understood that the distance and the ways that too far mean nothing about Feelings. Harringtn Family, I am so sorry that this turned out this way. I dd not know your daughter personally except to follow this story in the news praying every day that she would be found alive. I cannot imagine who would want to hurt such a pretty lady. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

As a mother of a murder 21 year old son, I am sorry for your loss.I pray for you on a daily basis to ease your heart and your pain. We as parent are not suppose to bury our babies! But God know's best so hold on to your memories because they are forever. Please your "hugger" is now hugging the best GOD. I am sorry for your loss but your family looks like a loving family so support each other and remember we all handle grief in different way but you all will heal in time. Love you in Jesus and we will continue to pray for your family, And from a family that had went thru it, it will be a time when you stop and think of the love one you loss, you will smile

To dear Gil, Dan and Alex, my thoughts are with you on the loss of your beautiful daughter Morgan, I will be thinking of you at 3.30pm Friday, I feel your pain as I have a 20 year old daughter too, here is my message for you "HER MEMORY IS YOUR KEEPSAKE, WITH WHICH YOU'LL NEVER PART; GOD HAS HER IN HIS KEEPING, YOU HAVE HER IN YOUR HEARTS", may she rest in peace. ~Morgan~ you always impressed me as someone beautiful outside and in. From those few times that I had the opportunity and privilege to hang out with you, I knew in an instant that you were an incredible and truly bright and special person. Every time I saw you, you always had something sweet to say. With a bright and cheerful face, you would say, "Oh, I love your hair! It's so nice," or "I love your skirt, it's so pretty". You were never like other girls. Some are so catty, jealous, self-absorbed etc. But you were Always so friendly. You would smile and open up to people in a heartbeat; never with hesitation. You were always smiling or laughing, bringing people together. It caused me great heartache when I heard for the first time that you were missing. You were, and always will be, an inspiration to me. It is so difficult to put to words the impact you have made on my life and so many other people's lives. You have taught me something so precious, and that is to unconditionally love, support, and cherish those people and things that are special to us. You have taught me to live my life to the fullest, always with a smile on my face. Though you have been tragically taken from this world and from your loved ones, your love and beautiful spirit will forever linger and live on in our hearts and on Earth. Your life will never be forgotten; your life and love will always be celebrated.
~To Morgan's family~ The bond that you shared with Morgan is truly like no other. I can sense by the words that you have shared with the community, how deeply you loved and cherished her. Just remember that Morgan will always be with you, in spirit, in soul, in heart. She will always be shining down, watching over you. Her bright light will continue to guide the entire world. Morgan will never be forgotten, her life has honestly inspired me to be the best that I can be, to love deeply and cherish my loved ones, to smile, to laugh. I am so sincerely sorry for your loss. I did not know Morgan personally but followed this story on the news as so many did. I wanted nothing more than for the family to find her alive and well. I am a mother of two young daughters and cannot imagine how hard this must be for the family. My heart sincerely is with you all. God Bless you all and God Bless Morgan.

Remember WE ARE HOKIES, as Morgan will always be! I like to think there are thirty two more angels hanging out with her now. We are made of tough stuff in those mountains in Virginia,and will pray for you all.

I participated in the search for Morgan an I prayed that we would find something anything that would lead us to her and bring her home. I'm so sorry that this search has ended this way. I hope you and your family can finally find some peace in this tragic event. Morgan will always remain in my thoughts as she did everyday.
